I make 3 main categories of vests with the shape being the main difference.
The following image shows the different shapes:
Butterfly vests
Butterfly vests are light weight and great for hot climates since they have limited fabric on the pup.
The shape kind of looks like a butterfly when laid flat (if you squint and use imagination) center is narrower than the sides.
Butterfly vests come with
- 2 open pockets
- A d-ring in the center
- Embroidery on the pockets
- Your choice of fabric colors (from my standard colors)
- Your choice of thread colors
- Black webbing
- Belly strap has a black buckle
- Chest strap has a black ladder lock
Add-ons are available to make the pockets zippered and to add embroidery to the center.
Anatomy of a butterfly vest:
S&R vests
S&R vests have center of the vest hang out further than the pockets.
S&R vests come with
- 2 Zippered pockets
- 2 d-ring's in the center (if included on the proof)
- Embroidery on the pockets and center depending on the variation purchased.
- Your choice of fabric colors (from my standard colors)
- Your choice of thread colors
- Black webbing
- Belly strap has a black buckle
- Chest strap has a black ladder lock
Add-ons are available to make the vest convertible to a cape.
Long Body vests
Long Body vests are closer to a rectangle while still having a dip at the neck so the vest will not dig into the back of the pups neck.
The pockets are longer than the S&R.
Long Body vests come with
