Standard vests have a chest strap and a belly strap. Both are permanently attached to the vest.
The convertible add-on makes the chest strap removeable and adds 2 straps towards the center of the vest.
These straps secure to loop on the bottom of the vest and can be used to attach the vest to a harness thru the d rings on a traditional harness.
Be sure to measure the distance between the d rings on your harness and let me know that spacing so I can position the center straps appropriately.
Note, the loop is generally secured to the back of the vest on 3 sides leaving one edge open.
Here is an example of an S&R convertible. This is the same for any shape vest or cape with the convertible add on. The only difference is the shape of the body of the vest. The attachments are all the same.
